Lake Lyndsay Lodge Fall Wedding | Ally + Andy

Weddings

The week leading up to Ally and Andy’s wedding ranged from 90 degrees to mid 50s. September in the Midwest is very unpredictable! I was pleasantly surprised that it was sunny and low 70s all day, making it the perfect wedding weather!

We started the day off at Lake Lyndsay Lodge where everyone got ready. Ally’s Bridesmaids squealed as she came out in her dress! Then Ally and Andy had a super intimate first look by the lake and then their wedding party joined us for portraits outside! It was just the perfect day! The afternoon was filled with a super sweet ceremony at Saint John’s Church and a major dance party on the transportation bus! The reception started off with the Bride and Groom (gently) roasting their wedding party in lieu of traditional introductions, and a moving speech from the Bride’s Father. If roasting your closest friends doesn’t scream fun then I don’t know what does! They had the entire reception hall laughing and now I never want to attend a wedding with traditional entrances ever again!

Ally and Andy, thank you for including me in your special day. It was truly an honor to be your photographer! You both made me feel so included in your little circle. Wishing you both a long and joyful marriage!

A special thank you to every one who helped to make Ally and Andy’s wedding day so incredible!
